American Election Debrief: What Happened and What's Next?

As Donald Trump prepares to take control of the White House, the implications of this dramatic political change are serious. What are the consequences of the 2016 American election for democracy, international security, human rights, economic development, and the environment? These are complex questions of global significance.

To help our UTSC community make sense of these changes, our Political Science faculty are hosting a post-election de-briefing session, open to all students across disciplines. Staff and faculty welcome.

Confused about what the election results mean for minority rights, climate change policy, or Russian influence in Eastern Europe? Wondering what this means for Canada and the world? If so, please join us in this roundtable discussion where we will address these critical questions.

Your Political Science Professors: Aisha Ahmad, Alison Braley-Rattai, Chris Cochrane, Renan Levine and Matthew Hoffmann.

The event will be held in the Catalyst Centre at the Environmental Science & Chemistry Building.
