The excitement of orientation is winding down and classes are ramping up at U of T Scarborough. If it seems busier than usual, that’s because the campus has welcomed more new students than ever before.

More than 3,400 students from age 16 to 70 are at UTSC for the first time, including students from all over the GTA, across Canada and from six continents. And they’re impressive, too – the number of students who come with high school averages of more than 95 per cent is up by 20 per cent.

UTSC’s focus on experiential learning makes this a destination campus. Our Co-op programs are offered in every department on campus. There are more Co-op students than ever, and they now make up more than a quarter of the new student population.
