Sign up in advance or just drop in The Writing Centre!

Some basics about Writers' Space:

Who:
Undergraduates who like to work on their writing assignments with other students and to get help from an experienced writing instructor

What:
A weekly writing group where people can bring assignments and work-in-progress to get feedback and advice on what they’ve written, or help getting started

When:
Mondays 3-4pm and Wednesdays from 1 - 2pm. Writers’ Space starts this term on January 26 and meet each week (except Reading Week) through the last week of classes.

Where:
AC 210 (in The Writing Centre, across from the Library)

Why:
Writers' Space offers a fun, relaxed environment for getting and giving help on writing. If you have trouble with writer's block or writing anxiety, this group can build your confidence and help you meet your goals. If you’d just like to drop in for occasional help, that’s fine too!

Students of each year, from first to fifth, take part in this group, and they bring all types of university writing. A writing instructor is always on hand to answer questions and offer advice, including individual feedback on assignments.

For more information, contact Sheryl Stevenson (sstevenson@utsc.utoronto.ca). Writers' Space is sponsored by The Writing Centre and AccessAbility.
