In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Music & Culture program, the Department of Arts, Culture and Media presents: (The) Classical Elements concert. 

(The) Classical Elements, formerly known as our Sounds of the Season concert, presents UTSC’s various music ensembles performing classical and contemporary works they have studied and practiced throughout the semester. The afternoon will feature the UTSC’s Concert Band performing compositions by Michael Sweeney, Brian Balmages, and others on the themes of the Elements, the Earth and stars. Following intermission the UTSC Concert Choir will sing excerpts from the Jakobin Opera and the UTSC String Orchestra will perform a selection of works featuring composers Mozart and Shostakovitch.

The concert will take place on Saturday, November 29 from 3-5pm in AC 223 (Academic Resource Centre) at UTSC (1265 Military Trail). Admission is free and we welcome everyone to join us for an afternoon of delightful music. Light refreshments will be served. Please arrive early as seating is limited.
