Pumpkin Carving Competition

Halloween is just around the corner and we would like you to experience one of the many traditions of this day which is pumpkin carving! Come join the fun and participate in the International Student Centre’s annual Pumpkin Carving Contest.

Be as wild, creative, funny or even scaryyyyy as you’d like! The great thing about this is that you decide on what you want to carve so start thinking of ideas. I know we will be. If you and a group of friends are interested in forming a team then you can do so. If you are interested in joining the festivities but do not have a team then this is no problem at all. The day of the event you will be placed on a team with other participants. There will be a total of 10 teams each consisting of 4-members.

Of course, if you have a group of 4 people and want to form your own team, please email Kendel Chitolie at and let him know.

Registration is free, supplies will be provided and of course there are prizes for this event. Is there a catch? Well we would like you to dress up in a Halloween costume or at least look a bit frightening. This is completely optional. Registration is on a first come basis so if you are interested and require further details then please send your info to Kendel Chitolie at
