The Arts, Culture and Media Speaker Series is pleased to present, Ame Henderson

Ame Henderson (Toronto) stewards the collaborative entity Public Recordings an atelier for choreographic experimentation. Recent research focuses on the political implications of the synchronous gesture and its potential as a collaboratively authored improvisatory practice of togetherness. In 2013, Public Recordings created the award winning performance what we are saying presented as part of Harbourfront’s World Stage (Toronto) and Festival Transmériques (Montreal). Henderson is the current artist in residence at the Art Gallery of Ontario and is an associate dance artist of Canada's National Arts Centre.

The lecture will take place on Tuesday, October 21 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in room SW 335 in the Science Wing Building. Admission to the lecture is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
