Critically exploring the politics of access to life-saving medicines

Mr. Richard Elliott, Executive Director of the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network in Toronto, will critically investigate the politics surrounding access to life-saving medicines.

He turns a critical eye to how Canada upholds (and not) its commitments to seeing that people around the world get the medicine they need to stay alive.

Join us in MW170 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM.

Also, at the end of March, Professor Ted Schrecker of Durham University in the UK will deliver the concluding lecture in this series. He will investigate how the global political economy produces and reproduces social inequities and human suffering.

I look forward to welcoming you to the Social Determinants of Health Monday Invited Guest Lecture Series!
