Arrivederci, Franco

UTSC and the entire U of T community bids farewell to Prof. Franco Vaccarino, who is stepping down from his position as vice-president, University of Toronto and principal, UTSC, effective February 15th.

In his seven years as principal, Vaccarino is credited with strengthening UTSC’s distinctive tradition of engagement, and promoting the organic development of solutions through collaborative partnerships—a hallmark of the campus.  He and his leadership team have led UTSC through an exciting and fruitful time in the campus’ history.

“I’m deeply appreciative of the experiences and many successes we’ve enjoyed together,” said Vaccarino.  “I’ve had the pleasure and privilege to work with a stellar executive team, exceptional faculty, talented staff and truly great students. Together we’ve put in place the strategic, academic, capital projects and master plans that will continue to be a valuable guide for UTSC in the years ahead.”
