Watch our sold-out TEDx conference live

Watch TEDxUTSC event live online on February 1, 2014.

Tickets went fast for UTSC’s high-profile TEDx Conference happening February 1, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out.

The whole event will be streamed online, so anyone with an internet connection will be able to watch the 12 speakers share their take on this year’s theme, Converging Realities. Last year’s sold-out event had more than 5,000 people watching the livestream from 18 different countries.

“Converging Realities” reflects the wide and diverse experiences of people who study, research and work at the UTSC campus. Participants will get to see first-hand how new ideas can be born when two or more realities come together. But just as important, they will also be challenged to explore their own realities and take part in conversations and debates with speakers, sharing their life experiences or areas of expertise for community growth.

The speakers’ list includes prominent local thinkers and UTSC academics, each of whom will share their own perspective on the conference theme.

TEDxUTSC 2014 is supported by sponsors from within the University of Toronto and from local business. The conference is an independently organized event that follows the TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) brand, whose mission is, “ideas worth spreading.”
