Green the Campus: BRING NATURE TO RESIDENCE - Planting and Barbecue

As an ongoing project in partnership with Evergreen, the University of Toronto Scarborough will be hosting several planting and gardening events throughout the year.

Bring Nature to Residence

Join us under the oak trees near Joan Foley Hall on Thursday, May 31st, 2007 from 11am - 1pm to help add woodland wildflowers and trees to the university residence area between Joan Foley Hall and Fir Hall. With your help, volunteers can enhance plant diversity and create wildlife habitat.

Drop in on your lunch hour or break. There will be food available for purchase from a BBQ at the Residence Centre next to the planting site.

Some of the species to be planted may include wild wood aster, wild columbine, and dogwood. Meet at Joan Foley Hall.

Stay for the two hours or drop by for ten minutes. Gloves and equipment will be provided.

Please sign up on the INTRANET to allow us to gauge how many people will be present.
