Alternative Metrics and Progress Through the Ranks at U of T

Library Instruction Lab, AC286A - group webcast viewing (Register

The metrics used to reward and recognize our scholarly work has traditionally included impact factor and citation counts of journal articles. The scholarly landscape is rapidly changing, however. And how will they affect your PTR?

Come watch the live webcast of the discussion with Heather Piwowar, cofounder of ImpactStory, Edith Hillan, Vice-Provost, Faculty and Academic Life and Gunther Eysenbach, founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Medical Internet Research and cofounder of TrendMD then join in the local discussion with your UTSC colleagues.
