De-Stress: Strategies for Reducing Test Anxiety

Place:AC 221 (next to Academic Advising & Career Centre)

Participants in this fast-paced session learn effective tips for improving their exam scores. The strategies that will be presented are based in current research on how students can enhance their performance in high-pressure situations. 

The workshop will include hands-on exercises that demonstrate specific ways to use writing to maximize the mind's ability to operate at its best under stress.

Note that the workshop will start at ten minutes after the hour, and the presentation and exercises only take about 35 minutes. Those who are interested can stay till 1pm for a discussion of students’ experience with ways to reduce stress and improve their performance.
