What Peace do Israelis Desire?

 

Public lecture by Prof. Jonathan Rynhold on Israeli opinion towards the peace process between Israel & the Palestinians in light of recent events including the Arab Spring, conflict in Syria, continuing Iranian nuclear development and the recent Israeli election.

Prof. Jonathan Rynhold is currently the Shusterman Visiting Professor of Israel Studies in the Department of Political Science at George Washington University in Washington DC while on sabbatical from the Department of Political Science at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, where he is also the head of Argov Center for Israel and the Jewish People and a researcher at the BESA Center for Strategic Studies.

Prof. Rynhold received his PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics (1998). He has published extensively about Israel and the peace process and US-Israeli relations. Dr. Rynhold is visiting UTSC thanks to the support of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs. Talk is hosted by the Department of Political Science, SOSSA and Hillel of Greater Toronto/Jewish Students at UTSC.

The lecture takes place March 11 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in room AC 334.
