Handling Presentation Anxiety

Are you feeling Anxiety about giving academic presentations? Does the idea of public speaking make you feel uncomfortable, or nervous? You aren’t alone. This workshop on handling presentation anxiety is designed to help you.

 In this session we will:

-       Identify sources of fear, and discuss practical ways to overcome

-       Explore how practice and preparation can help lessen anxiety

-       Recommend techniques to “get through” each presentation

-       Answer any questions or concerns you have about upcoming presentations
