Cultural Pluralism in the Arts and the Department of Arts, Culture and Media are pleased to present a new series of artist talks, "Exploring Interdisciplinarity and Cultural Pluralism in Media Arts". The first artist talk will be with Midi Onodera, a renowned multimedia artist, on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 2-5pm in BV340.

Featuring a screening of a variety of video projects produced by Midi, this artist talk will provide insight into the discourse developing around mixed media and cultural pluralism and its place in Canadian arts.  In response to Midi’s talk, Sinara Rozo-Perdomo, Executive Director of alucine Latino Film Festival, and Jason Baerg, Chair of the Aboriginal Curatorial Committee, will introduce their own  interpretations and show some of the work they have been involved in bringing to Canadian audiences.

Admission to the artist talk is free and open to everyone.
