TEDxUTSC on track

The guest speakers for TEDxUTSC have been chosen and with only a few months remaining before the event organizers are urging the UTSC community to register now in order to reserve a spot.

Recently, event organizers were proud to announce that Emily Hunter will be one of the guest speakers.  A graduate of the UTSC journalism program, Hunter has worked as an environmental advocate. The daughter of Robert Hunter, first president and co-founder of Greenpeace, Emily has carved out her own career in protecting the Earth through combating climate change and animal abuse.

Meanwhile, registration for staff and faculty to attend the event will open Nov. 1, 2012. Space is limited so those interested in attending are urged to register as soon as possible.

Every other week a new speaker will be announced, so check the TEDxUTSC website for updates.
