The American Caruso: The Tragedy of Mario Lanza

Arts & Events Programming is proud to present its first World Rhythms Performance Lecture of the 2012-13 season, The American Caruso: The Tragedy of Mario Lanza, a musical celebration of the works of Mario Lanza.

The performance will take place on October 9, 2012 at 7:00pm in AA 303. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend. However, due to limited seating, we ask that you RSVP online.

Featuring Edward Franko (tenor) and Lenard Whiting (tenor) and accompanied by Brett Kingsbury (piano), the program will include performances of some of Lanza's most famous works, including Be My Love, Because Your Mine, Granada, O Sole Mio, and Serenade.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to relive some of Mario Lanza's classic works and experience Lenard’s rich and powerful voice blend with the energetic and passionate singing of Edward and Brett’s brilliant piano stylings. It's a performance you will not soon forget!
