Are you feeling stressed and anxious about school? Are you having trouble juggling your school work? Here is a chance for you to take steps toward managing your academic stress. In this workshop you will learn to:

- Overcome negative thoughts
- Recognize and manage signs of stress
- Use relaxation techniques to manage anxiety
- Organize and prioritize your school work
- Use the potpourri of time management principle

Part 1 (Jan 30, 2012 from 12-1 pm)

- 10 factors of stress and anxiety
- Recognizing stress symptoms
- Potpourri of time management
- Introduction of daily planning/reflection journal
- Demonstration of relaxation technique

Part 2 (Feb 6, 2012 from 12-1:30 pm)

- Review of stress and anxiety
- Take up time management journal
- Review of academic resources
- Mindfulness exercise (optional)
