As part of the Opera by Request Series, the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) Concert Choir and the Ensemble TrypTych Chamber Choir are pleased to present Saint of Bleecker Street on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 7:00pm at the Leigha Lee Browne Theatre.

Written by the American composer Gian Carlo Menotti, Saint of Bleecker Street is set in 1950s Little Italy of New York City. Her atheist brother, Michele, played by Avery Krisman, is worried that his sister is mentally ill and concerns himself with efforts to hospitalize her.

In addition to the November 23rd performance, a second performance will take place on Saturday, November 26th at 7:30PM at the Trinity Presbyterian Church located at 2737 Bayview Avenue.

Tickets for both performances can be purchased for $15 in advance in Room AA 301 or by calling (416) 455 2365.  Tickets will also be available at the door for $20. UTSC students can enjoy a discounted ticket price of $10.
