Discussion-Skills Building Series: Theme B

These casual one-hour workshops use multimedia such as film, video, audio and images to generate discussions on current, interesting topics. Hands-on, instructor-led activities are designed to provide students with the opportunity to build their English-language discussion skills while engaging critically with media and ideas.

Bring your morning coffee and activate your mind at the start of the day!

This week’s topic: Technology and the Internet (from Past to Present)

This session will use two short video segments - one from the CBC archives and the other an advertisement for the technology development corporation, HP. The Instructor will guide discussion and provide students with discussion-building strategies along the way.
