Turgay Memorial ADHD Workshop

All University of Toronto/OISE staff are invited to attend the Turgay Memorial ADHD Workshop on April 18 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The training session will feature Dr. C. Keith Conners, an internationally renowned psychologist and researcher in the field of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Conners is the author of the most widely-used diagnostic ADHD scales in existence, including the CAARS, CRS, and the computerized CPT. This training workshop is open to psychologists, counselors, social workers, psychometrists and educators.

Registration for the workshop is free for all University of Toronto/OISE staff and students. Please call the ADHD Clinic at 416-304-1779 to reserve seats, as space is limited.

About Atilla Turgay:

Dr. Atilla Turgay joined the UTSC Health & Wellness Centre in August, 2007, after completing his tenure as Chief of Medical Staff at the Scarborough Hospital. He had a passion for working with adolescents and their families, and with the university student population. Turgay was a superb psychiatrist and highly skilled in diagnosing and treating ADHD, anxiety and mood disorders, substance abuse problems and psychosis. He was also very effective in research, treatment and rating scale development. Turgay died April 8, 2010 at the age of 63.
