Lunar New Celebration

The third annual Lunar New Year Celebration hosted by the International Student Centre (ISC) – Department of Student Life, will be held at U of T Scarborough on Wednesday February 2nd 2011 from 11 am – 3 pm in the Meeting Place. The Lunar New Year Celebration is a collaborative event between the International Student Centre, several UTSC student clubs and special guests from Scotiabank.

The celebration is free to attend and will feature student groups and organizations promoting the traditions of their heritage through performances and interactive activities. Customary Chinese dumplings, mandarin oranges, and a variety of traditional candies will be freely distributed to all attendees. An authentic Lion Dance performance by award-winning Canadian performers from Wushu Canada (www.wushucanada.com) will take place after 12 pm.
