This is the first in a series of DB2 on Campus seminars at U of T in Scarborough. Topics for this presentation include (introductory level):

Technical topics:

- Web 2.0

- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

- XML and pureXML

- DB2 Express-C (Free Database: http://www.ibm.com/db2/express)

- Cloud computing

Career topics:

- Preparing to get a job at IBM: Skills you need

- Learn from managers and interns what they do at the Toronto Lab.

- Learn about getting IBM DB2 certification for free.

30 minutes will be allocated for networking at the end of the session

Speaker Biography:

Raul F. Chong is a DB2 evangelist and manager of the program "DB2 on Campus". He travels around the world delivering technical and career sessions to universities and customers.
