Documentary about architectural history of Highland Creek highlights UTSC

The Highland Creek neighbourhood is the focus of this Thursday's episode of Structures on Rogers TV. Catch the 30-minute program with host Heather Seaman as they explore our community. The episode includes the University of Toronto Scarborough's Andrews Building, known internationally for its striking Brutalist architecture and as a structure ahead of its time when built in the 1960's. Also included are the historic Miller Lash House and the more recent academic buildings added to the campus.

Rogers TV was at UTSC this past summer filming for this episode as well as a 30-minute episode based entirely on UTSC's architectural and social history. The UTSC episode, including interviews with the Principal, faculty and alumni will air in the new year. Dates and times TBA.

The Highland Creek episode airs this Thursday, November 19 at 8:30 pm. Rogers TV in Scarborough is on channel 63 and on channel 10 in the rest of Toronto.
