oUTreach 2008: Volunteer off campus for a day!

Friday, September 26, 2008 from 9 am – 5 pm

The University of Toronto at Scarborough is hosting oUTreach, a community service day, on Friday, September 26. We are looking for students who would like to volunteer at various locations in Scarborough on this day.

OUTreach allows students to engage in the Scarborough community through the rewarding experience of volunteer service.

Some activities for the day include volunteering at a seniors’ home or daycare centre, completing office work, outdoor environment work, or helping with renovation projects.

Volunteers must be available from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday, September 26.  Students from any U of T campus are welcome! All participants will receive a certificate of recognition.

First year students who are participating in the Passport Program will receive one Helping Hand stamp for participating in oUTreach.

Volunteers are admitted on a first come, first serve basis. Registration closes on Friday, September 12.
