Bent By Way Of Pride: An Interdisciplinary Convergence on Sexual and Gender Diversity

CALL FOR PAPERS

****************************************************

Bent By Way of Pride:  An Interdisciplinary Convergence on Sexual and Gender Diversity, on Thursday, June 26th, between 3 and 6pm, will showcase the work of graduate students researching in this area.  It will gather students, faculty, and staff in an informal setting that will feature short presentations (15 minutes) by up to ten graduate students.

This will offer an opportunity for U of T graduate students at various stages of their degree program, and from a wide range of backgrounds, to share their writing or research, as part of the University’s commemoration of Pride Week -- June 23-29th, 2008.

University of Toronto graduate students are invited to submit proposals for presentation at Bent by Way of Pride.  The proposals should include:

  • degree program and contact information
  • one paragraph description of research, with title
  • indication of audio-visual needs

Please email your proposal to lgbtq.resources@utoronto.ca by 5 p.m. on June 9th, 2008

Sponsored by the Office of LGBTQ Resources & Programs and the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies University of Toronto
