The summer weather is here and the great outdoors is calling us! The Physical Education and Athletic Department would like to invite all students, staff and faculty to join us for a new and invigorating free Walkfit program starting Wednesday, April 30th. This program will run from 12:10-1:00pm and continue every Wednesday until August 20th.

One of our certified fitness instructors will teach you the correct techniques to turn a walk into a workout.  You are encouraged to walk at a pace of your choice, so all levels are welcome.  Weather permitting, we will walk through the picturesque valley trails and the local neighborhood.  After your walk, you'll be taken through some body weight exercises to increase your overall strength and a relaxing stretch.

Please bring appropriate walking shoes, sun protection and water.  Our instructor, Marianne will meet you outside of the Recreation Centre's main doors.
